Review

This is NOT a kids book! This book is for girls 14 and up… But it is AWESOME!!!!!!1 The plot line, the characters!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

The book is themed around the time after the flood. I reviewed the first book in the series, which is about the flood. (The Heavens Before) But this book is more about the beginning of the tower of Bable. The book is violent though… Lots of death and blood… And since it is the Bible times there is also mention of worship to other ‘gods’ and men… (So there are sacrifices and weird stuff mentioned…)

Over all, this book is a really good book and I do suggest it, BUT only if you are 14 and up. (And if you think you can handle all the… everything.) -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A great book for girls 14 and up
  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Cons

  • Not Kid-friendly!
  • VIOLENCE!

Powerful imagery creates a ‘you are there’ immersion in the story of the post-Flood world. Kacy Barnett-Gramckow fans raved about her extraordinary job of bringing the Flood to life in the Heavens Before. Now, she continues to flesh out the Bible’s brief account of the rise of Nimrod and the Babel rebellion with scintillating characters and a wealth of imaginative detail.
